Student privacy, by default

The classroom mode of use is guest play, and guest play is deliberately data-minimal: no name, no email, no account — only a random device identifier that keeps local streaks working. Students never need to sign up to play everything on the site.

Accounts are optional, exist for syncing personal stats across devices, and require an age-14-or-older confirmation at creation — younger students simply keep playing without one, and a parent or guardian can contact us about supervised account options.
