How to Play Speed Streak

Speed Wordle is an arcade twist on the daily word game. You start with 5 minutes on the clock. Each word you solve adds bonus time — +60s for a 1-guess solve, down to +10s for 6 guesses. Failed words cost 30 seconds. Build combos by solving consecutive words without failing for up to a 3x score multiplier. The timer accelerates every 3 words. How many can you finish before time runs out? Free in Klingon and 80+ other languages.

Don't overthink

Speed Streak rewards gut instinct. If you see a likely word, go for it — the combo bonus outweighs a perfect solve.

Go for 2-3 guess solves

What is Speed Wordle in Klingon?

Speed Wordle (also called Speed Streak) is a timed arcade-style word game in Klingon. You start with 5 minutes on the clock. Solve 5-letter Wordle puzzles as fast as you can — each correct answer adds bonus time, each failure costs 30 seconds. Build combos by solving consecutive words for multiplied scores.

How is this different from regular Wordle?

Classic Wordle is a single untimed puzzle per day with 6 guesses. Speed Wordle throws endless timed puzzles at you for as long as you can survive. The core mechanic (green/yellow/gray tiles, 5-letter words) is the same, but the pressure and scoring system turn it into an arcade game. If you like the core Wordle feel but want more action, Speed Wordle is the mode.

How does scoring work?

Points = (7 − guesses used) × 100 × combo multiplier. So a 1-guess solve earns 600 base points, a 6-guess solve earns 100. Consecutive solves build a combo multiplier up to 3x. A failed word resets the combo.

How does the time bonus work?

Each correct word adds bonus seconds based on how few guesses you used: +60s for 1 guess, +45s for 2, +30s for 3, +20s for 4, +15s for 5, +10s for 6. Failed words cost 30 seconds. The timer also ticks faster every 3 words, so early efficiency matters.

What happens when the timer runs out?

The game ends and you see your final score, total words solved, max combo reached, and average guesses per word. You can play again immediately.
