How does it pick the next word?

It maximizes Shannon entropy: for each candidate, simulate it as a guess against every remaining answer, partition by color outcome, and pick the word that splits the candidate set most evenly. That's the play that learns the most on average.

Which word list does it use?

The daily-tier list for the chosen language. For English, that's roughly 2,300 commonly-used words — the same list a well-curated Wordle clone uses.

What do Skill and Luck mean?

Skill measures how close your guess was to the entropy-maximizing play given what you knew at the time. Luck measures how favorably the colors actually fell — 50 means as expected, 100 means perfect partition.
