Daily 2048 is the sliding number puzzle with a daily goal. The board is 4x4. Swipe left, right, up or down, or press an arrow key, and every tile slides as far as it can; two tiles with the same number that meet merge into one worth both, so 2 and 2 make 4 and 4 and 4 make 8. After each move a new tile, a 2 or now and then a 4, lands in an empty cell. Today's tiles arrive in the same order for every player in the world, and the goal is to make a 512 tile in as few moves as you can: every move adds a tile, so a low count means you kept the board tidy, with the biggest tile held in a corner and a chain of smaller ones lined up beside it. Your move count goes to the global leaderboard and time breaks ties. Free, no account, the same game worldwide.
Daily 2048 is the sliding number puzzle on a 4x4 board, with one game a day that is the same for every player in the world. Swipe in any direction and every tile slides as far as it can; two equal tiles that meet merge into one worth both.
After every move a new tile, a 2 or now and then a 4, appears in an empty cell. Today's tiles arrive in the same order for everyone, so the only difference between two players is how they play.
The daily goal is to make a 512 tile in as few moves as possible. Every move adds a tile, so a low move count means a tidy board: the biggest tile in a corner and the rest lined up beside it in a chain.
Your move count goes to the global leaderboard, with time breaking ties. 2048 Unlimited is the classic endless game: a fresh board every round, played until no move is left.
With the big tile in the top-left corner, swipe left and up freely, right when you must, and down only when nothing else moves.
A full row along the corner's edge cannot slide sideways, so the big tile stays put when you swipe along it.
Build small tiles near the end of the chain, so each merge rolls into the next one on its way to the corner.
Fewer than three empty cells is a warning. Spend a few moves merging small tiles to open the board before you go for the big merge.
