Guess what people answered: one survey question a day, the top answers hidden on the board, three strikes. Free, daily, and built from players' answers.
Survey Says is a daily game of guessing what the crowd answered. Each day brings one survey question — name something people take to the beach — and a board of the top answers, hidden behind numbered bars, each with the share of people who gave it. Type your guesses; a judging model decides which answer each one means, so the same answer in other words counts. Three strikes end the round, and your score is the share of the crowd you covered. Before you play, you answer tomorrow's question in ten seconds: tomorrow's board is built from players' answers.
Every day there is one survey question and one board, the same for everyone. Behind the numbered bars are the answers people gave, most popular first, each with the share of people who gave it.
Type what you think people said. A judging model decides which answer on the board your guess is — the same answer in other words counts — and that bar flips open. A guess that is not on the board is a strike; three strikes end the round, and the rest of the board opens.
Your score is the share of people your answers cover. Before the daily round starts, you get ten seconds to answer tomorrow's question — you can skip it — because tomorrow's board is built from everyone's answers.
The top bar is the answer most people gave. The first thing you think of is usually on the board.
Go for common answers, not clever ones: a board rewards what many people said.
The hidden bars are ranked. If the top two are open, the rest are smaller shares.
Other words for the same answer count, so type the plain version and let the judge match it.
Your first instinct is what builds a good board — and it is what everyone else will be guessing.
