Compare 7×4+3=31 (the target) with 8−3×4=12 — both equal but use different operators.

Mathle Unlimited takes the daily equation puzzle and removes the daily cap. Fresh random 8-character equation every round, same Wordle-style colour feedback on digits and operators, same 6-try budget. Great for speed-drilling number sense or racking up rounds for fun. Free, no account, no ads during play.

How it works

Type your first equation

Tap digits 0-9 and operators + − × ÷ = on the on-screen keyboard, or use your physical keyboard (* and / map to × and ÷). Build any valid 8-character equation — exactly one =, no leading zeros, integer arithmetic.

Read the colour clues

Each tile turns green (right character, right position), yellow (in the equation but wrong position), or gray (not in the equation). The on-screen keyboard mirrors the same colours so you can track which digits and operators are still in play.

Solve in

Narrow in over six guesses. Win by matching the exact equation. The puzzle is the same for every player today — share your result when you finish.

Exactly one =. No leading zeros. Integer arithmetic only — no decimals, no negative results. Standard precedence (× ÷ before + −).

Tips & Strategy

1
Start with a vowel-rich word

Words like CRANE, STARE, or ADIEU test common letters quickly. Knowing which vowels are present narrows options fast.

2
Use what you know

Green letters stay locked. Yellow letters must move. Gray letters are eliminated. Each guess should use all three clues.

3
Think about common patterns

English words often end in -TION, -IGHT, -OUND, -MENT. Other languages have their own patterns — learn them.

4
Eliminate, don't guess randomly

Your second word should test new letters, not repeat confirmed ones. Cover as many untested consonants as possible.

5
Watch for double letters

Words like CREEK, FLOSS, or APPLE are common traps. If your clues don't add up, consider a repeated letter.

6
Use hard mode to improve

Hard mode forces you to use confirmed clues in every guess. It builds better habits even when you switch back to normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mathle Unlimited?
Mathle Unlimited is the daily equation puzzle without the daily cap. You still guess an 8-character equation in 6 tries with Wordle-style colour feedback on digits and operators — the difference is you can start a fresh random equation whenever you want.
Does unlimited count toward my streak?
No. Unlimited results are tracked separately. Your daily Mathle streak only moves when you solve the daily equation.
Are the equations the same as Nerdle practice?
Structurally identical — same 8-character format, same valid-equation rules, same digits/operators. The pools are generated independently, but any Nerdle player will find Mathle Unlimited familiar. Free, no account, no ads.
Is Mathle Unlimited free?
Yes. Completely free in every language, no account, no ads during gameplay.
How is Mathle unlimited different from the daily Mathle?
Same 8-character equation format, same 6-guess budget, same green/yellow/grey rules. The daily uses one fixed equation every player gets that day and feeds your daily streak; unlimited rolls a fresh random equation each round and is purely for practice. Mathle is language-independent, so the equations are the same worldwide either way.
Can I save my progress in Mathle unlimited?
Your in-progress guesses for the current unlimited equation persist if you reload mid-round, but once the equation is solved (or you press Play Again) it's replaced by a fresh random equation. Finished unlimited rounds are kept in local history; only the daily Mathle writes to your streak.
