How to Play Survey Says Unlimited

Survey Says Unlimited deals a new survey board every round. Same rules: guess the top answers, three strikes, and cover as much of the crowd as you can.

How Survey Says works

Every day there is one survey question and one board, the same for everyone. Behind the numbered bars are the answers people gave, most popular first, each with the share of people who gave it.

Type what you think people said. A judging model decides which answer on the board your guess is — the same answer in other words counts — and that bar flips open. A guess that is not on the board is a strike; three strikes end the round, and the rest of the board opens.

Your score is the share of people your answers cover. After the round, you answer tomorrow's question — you can skip it — because tomorrow's board is built from everyone's answers.

Tips & Strategy

1
Say the obvious first

The top bar is the answer most people gave. The first thing you think of is usually on the board.

2
Think like a crowd

Go for common answers, not clever ones: a board rewards what many people said.

3
Use the numbers

The hidden bars are ranked. If the top two are open, the rest are smaller shares.

4
Plain words work

Other words for the same answer count, so type the plain version and let the judge match it.

5
Answer tomorrow's honestly

Your first instinct is what builds a good board — and it is what everyone else will be guessing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Survey Says Unlimited?
Survey Says Unlimited deals a new survey board every round, so you can keep guessing top answers after the daily board is done.
How is it different from the daily Survey Says?
The rules are the same: guess the top answers, three strikes. Unlimited boards come from other survey questions than the last two weeks' dailies, and they do not count toward your daily streak.
Does my guess still have to match exactly?
No. As in the daily game, a judging model decides which answer on the board your guess means, so the same answer in other words counts.
Is there a limit on rounds?
You can play board after board. A daily fair-use limit keeps the judge fast for everyone; if you reach it, the game asks you to come back tomorrow.
